La Axarquia (Malaga). Wine

We enter the Axarquia through the Raisin Route, which is recognized by the FAO as being the area where the largest production of Malaga raisins is located, called the Important / Ingenious System of World Agricultural Production in 2018.

The Axarquia' s house museum, the Stonecutters` Park bring us closer to the traditions and the local culture. The vertical vineyards lying on the profile of the mountain located 700mts above the Mediterranean Sea, the raisins, the presses and the visit to the Dimobe winery will take us into the most ancient of Malaga`s traditions such as the production of natural Malaga wines and raisins, recognized for their excellence historically and internationally.

Next, we will visit Moclinejo, the first town of this route, located just 27 kms from the center of the city of Malaga. The road to this town opens the doors to unique landscapes in the province between sea and mountains where the wine culture will be our guiding thread.

We do not leave behind the local gastronomy offering the visitor a varied tasting of dishes made with local seasonal products.
