Chinchon (Madrid). Wine and gastronomy.

The DEL NERO winery is located in the heart of the town of Chinchón, one of the most beautiful and traditional tourist towns in the Community of Madrid.
Located in the region of Las Vegas, in the southeast of this community, and only 45 km from the capital, the town of Chinchón offers us an incomparable landscape, which takes the visitor back to medieval times.

The winery, founded in 1870, is made up of a building more than 150 years old, which, thanks to its wide walls and its orientation, manages to favour naturally balanced temperature and humidity conditions all year round, essential for the good preservation and ageing of the wine.

This winery is one of the few wineries in Spain with five generations of winemakers within the same family, and now offers the opportunity to visit and learn all about the processes of cultivation and production of their wines.
The visit starts at 12.00 h. It lasts 2 hours and at the end there is a tasting of 2 wines and cheeses from Chinchón.

Gastronomic menus (2 people):

• 1/4 lamb suckling lamb with salad

• Bread, local wine, coffee

Enjoyment of the experiences:

• 1-day or weekend experiences can be enjoyed individually or in a group.
• Long experiences or large experiences may require a minimum number of participants (usually 8).
• Conditions and cancellation fees for "Premium Experiences" should be consulted on a case-by-case basis.

 

Cancellation policy:

• 1-day experiences:
  • With more than 7 days notice there are no cancellation fees.
  • Between 7 and 3 days before departure 25% of the total amount of the trip.
  • 2 days before or no show at departure 100% of the total cost of the trip
  • In case of special conditions of hiring a service: 100% of the total cost of the trip
  • Administration fee: 5€.
• Weekend experiences, long experiences or great experiences:
  • With more than 14 days notice there is no cancellation fee.
  • Between 14 and 10 days, 5% of the total amount of the trip.
  • Between 10 and 7 days 15% of the total cost of the trip
  • Between 7 and 3 days before departure 25% of the total cost of the trip
  • 2 days before or no-show at departure 100% of the total cost of the trip
  • In case of special conditions of contracting a service such as transport, accommodation, etc., 100% of the total cost may apply
  • Management fees that could be applied in case of cancellation of the trip:
    • Weekend experiences: 10€.
    • Long experiences or big experiences: 20€.
