Located in this medieval and Renaissance town, the Palacio las Manillas is a 16th century building that belonged to illustrious families, as the coats of arms at the entrance, belonging to the Fdez. de Figueroa Roa and Quintana families, indicate. In addition, the handles on the façade give it the connotation of a "Casa Fuerte".
The stay will transport you to other times of lodging and inn: the quality of Manolo's welcome, the flowery patios, the quiet rooms, the harmony of the spaces, will all contribute to your rest. If you wish you will be able to savour the homemade gastronomy in the restaurant with flavours of yesteryear, good food and local wines.

Gastronomic menu:

• Tasting of oils from the land of Jaén with wood-fired oven bread (arbequino, royal and picual).
• Starters:
  • Organic Tomato with a good dressing accompanied by Red Tuna Tenderloin Confit in Picual Extra Virgin and Garlic Emulsion
  • Extra Virgin Picual and Black Garlic Emulsion
  • Partridge Pâté with Royal Quinoa and Early Olive Oil Marmalade
• Main course:
  • Pâté of Partridge with Royal Quinoa and Early Olive Oil Marmalade or
  • Octopus Carpaccio with Emulsified Potato Cream, Smoked Arbequina Oil, Poached Egg and Truffle or
  • Secreto Ibérico de Bellota with Scrambled Potatoes and Vegetables with a touch of Royal Olive Oil.
• Dessert:
  • Baked Cheesecake with Black Olive, Walnuts and Apple Jam

• 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) Bed & Breakfast in a double room.
• Guided visit to the olive grove of Cortijo Espíritu Santo. You will observe the olive trees and the cultivation techniques that are used depending on the season, as well as receive all the information about the concerns that you may have.
• Guided visit to the olive mill of Cortijo Espíritu Santo. You will learn how the authentic olive juice is obtained: the process from the moment the olives enter the mill until the oil is in the cellar.
• Guided tasting of extra virgin olive oils accompanied by other products to awaken all your olfactory, gustatory and retronasal sensations.

Enjoyment of the experiences:

• 1-day or weekend experiences can be enjoyed individually or in a group.
• Long experiences or large experiences may require a minimum number of participants (usually 8).
• Conditions and cancellation fees for "Premium Experiences" should be consulted on a case-by-case basis.

 

Cancellation policy:

• 1-day experiences:
  • With more than 7 days notice there are no cancellation fees.
  • Between 7 and 3 days before departure 25% of the total amount of the trip.
  • 2 days before or no show at departure 100% of the total cost of the trip
  • In case of special conditions of hiring a service: 100% of the total cost of the trip
  • Administration fee: 5€.
• Weekend experiences, long experiences or great experiences:
  • With more than 14 days notice there is no cancellation fee.
  • Between 14 and 10 days, 5% of the total amount of the trip.
  • Between 10 and 7 days 15% of the total cost of the trip
  • Between 7 and 3 days before departure 25% of the total cost of the trip
  • 2 days before or no-show at departure 100% of the total cost of the trip
  • In case of special conditions of contracting a service such as transport, accommodation, etc., 100% of the total cost may apply
  • Management fees that could be applied in case of cancellation of the trip:
    • Weekend experiences: 10€.
    • Long experiences or big experiences: 20€.
