DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LJUBLJANA - VIPAVA - NOVA GORICA
Arrival at Ljubljana airport. After lunch in a restaurant with typical Slovenian food, transfer to Nova Gorica on the border with Italy. The route takes us through the Vipava Valley, surrounded by vineyards where we stop to enjoy and taste some typical wines of the region (malvasia, ribolla, homemade wines, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, homemade liqueurs). Overnight in Nova Gorica.
DAY 2: GORISKA BRDA - VIPAVA VALLEY - KARST 
Breakfast and visit of Goriska Brda. In this wonderful region, your lungs will rejoice with the fresh air of the green hills that form this unique panorama. You will climb the tower in Gonjace which represents a memory of the victims of the Second World War for an infinite view in all directions. The locals also sell delicious seasonal fruit (in June especially sweet and huge cherries). There we organize wine tasting of typical wines of the region (ribolla, chardonnay, pinot blanc, pinot gris, merlot, cabernet sauvignon). In the afternoon visit of the village of Stanjel, in Karst, where you can admire the Ferrari garden, the place for romantic souls. Dinner at the local restaurant and overnight in the Karst region.    
DAY 3: KARST - STYRIA REGION 
After breakfast, you will visit the famous Postojna cave, which is the largest cave in Europe open to the public. Electric train does part of the visit of the cave because otherwise, you would walk for more than an hour to reach the most spectacular part. Afterwards, you will visit from the outside the magical Predjama Castle, located about 9 kilometers from Postojna. The medieval castle is famous for its incredible location, situated under a rock, with caves and hiding places. We will continue to the city Maribor to have a break and a rich Slovenian lunch, getting to know other typical representatives of Slovenian gastronomy. The second city in population and importance of Slovenia is in the northwest, between vineyards and green valleys, and is known for its white wines, urban community gardens, pedestrian streets, squares full of charming terraces, natural surroundings: Drava river, Pohorje mountain, and a beautiful city park. City tour and visit of the Old Vine House with the oldest vineyard in the world. Tasting of typical wines (white Riesling, sparkling wine). Dinner on your own. Overnight in Maribor.
DAY 4: PTUJ - JERUZALEM - GORNJA RADGONA  
We will start the day with a walk through the central part of the medieval town of Ptuj, the oldest town in Slovenia, dating back to Roman times. Then, transfer to the picturesque Jeruzalem hills region to enjoy a traditional lunch and wine tasting with views that won' t let you leave. 
The rural atmosphere and the friendliness of the locals will impress you. In the afternoon we will visit the small town of Gornja Radgona, just south of the Austrian border, known for the production of sparkling wine, a tradition that lasts over 150 years. Afternoon at leisure and overnight in Maribor.
DAY 5: STYRIA REGION - LJUBLJANA 
In the morning, you will enjoy a local breakfast, relaxing in nature and then depart for the capital. Transfer to Ljubljana followed by a walking tour through its streets, where you will visit the most important cultural sites (Preseren Square, Dragon Bridge, etc.) while learning about gastronomy in Slovenia. Our professional guide will take you to different places, both traditional and modern, where you will taste dishes from different gastronomic regions and explore the diversity of Slovenian cuisine. Even an excellent beer awaits you. In the afternoon, we recommend taking the opportunity to explore the nooks and crannies of this striking city on foot. Overnight in Ljubljana.
DAY 6: LJUBLJANA - BLED - - RADOVLIJCA - BOHINJ - LJUBLJANA  
Today you will visit another region of Slovenia, famous for its traditional food. First stop is the town of Bled with the famous Lake Bled, the king of Slovenian tourism. Visit the island in the middle of the glacial lake and enjoy the views of the Julian Alps from the fairytale castle. After lunch in Bled, don't forget to order the typical local dessert, kremsnita. In the afternoon, visit Radovlijca and its Gingerbread museum and then the Bohinj valley, home of the famous mohant cheese. Cheese lovers can even opt for a special cheese tasting tour. Return to Ljubljana. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Ljubljana.
DAY 7: LJUBLJANA
Free day in Ljubljana. Optionally, we can organize some excursions such as Velika Planina or organize lunch or dinner (&euro 80) at Michelin Star Restaurant Atelje in Ljubljana. 
DAY 8: LJUBLJANA - END OF TOUR
Free time before transfer to the airport. If you have a late flight, we can give you recommendations for the last lunch from haute cuisine to lunch.
