TYPE
Young red wine aged for 3 months in barrels. VARIETY
100% Monastrell free-standing. WINEMAKING
The grapes used to make this wine come from ungrafted vines over thirty years old, with a yield per vine of less than one kilo. The grapes were harvested in plastic crates with a capacity of fourteen kilos of grapes. In the winery they were checked and sorted and carefully crushed. The vatting lasted for a week, in stainless steel tanks of 10,000 litres capacity, with temperature control and pumping over. After racking and malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged for a short period of 3 months in new American oak barrels (2/3) and French oak barrels (1/3). TASTING
Intense and bright red colour. Aromas of ripe fruit, perfectly combining the nuances of oak with spicy notes and a touch of toast. Powerful, with complex sensations: smooth, ripe red fruit flavour, with tannins, velvety and with a fruity aftertaste. Long and very pleasant aftertaste. FOOD PAIRING
Ideal with rice dishes, stews and red and white meats. It goes well with roast fish, pasta and cured cheeses, cured meats and pulses. Pasta, salads and ideal with aperitifs or on its own. CONSERVATION AND CONSUMPTION
The appropriate temperature for storage and consumption to fully enjoy this wine should be around 15ºC.

TYPE
Crianza red wine aged for 8 months in French and American oak barrels. Made with 100% Monastrell grapes from Pie Franco vineyards. WINEMAKING The grapes used to make this wine come from free-standing vineyards over thirty years old, with a yield per vine of less than one kilo. The grapes were harvested in boxes with a capacity of fourteen kilos of grapes. In the cellar they were checked and selected and carefully crushed. The vatting lasted three weeks, in stainless steel tanks of 10,000 litres capacity, with temperature control and pumping-over, frequent during fermentation and more spaced at the end of fermentation and until the end of the maceration phase. After racking and malolactic fermentation, the wine underwent a short period of ageing in new American and French oak barrels during the month of April. After this time the wine was bottled, and the bottles remained in the same air-conditioned cellar until they were sold. TASTING
A wine with a very intense colour, with bright red tones. On the nose it has a deep aroma of ripe fruit, perfectly combined with the aroma of new wood. Spicy and slightly toasted. In the mouth it is a very powerful wine, with a lot of sensations, full-bodied and with soft, ripe tannins. Pleasant aftertaste and very long persistence. FOOD PAIRING
Ideal with rice dishes, stews, pulses, mushrooms, meat stews, sausages, a variety of roasts, medium and long cured cheeses, white and red meats, grilled meats, griddle... PRESERVATION AND CONSUMPTION
The appropriate temperature for conservation and consumption to fully enjoy this wine should be around 16ºC. It is important that the temperature be constant, avoiding thermal jumps that could have a negative influence on the quality of the wine.
