Description

NILVA DRY MUSCATEL 2019
  • Designation of Origin: Sierras de Málaga
  • Type of wine: Dry White - Aging on fine lees
  • Grape Variety: Muscat of Alexandria 100%.
  • Vineyard: Grapes from several vineyards in Manilva (Malaga), close to the Mediterranean Sea and with a strong oceanic influence due to its proximity to the Strait of Gibraltar and the Atlantic Ocean. Old vines cultivated in dry conditions on hills of albariza soil, facing both east and west, which determines a set of nuances and characters that give personality to the final product.
  • Harvest: Manual with strict selection in the field, harvested in boxes of 7 to 10 kg.
  • Production: Limited to 2,787 bottles (2019 vintage).
  • Alcoholic Graduation: 13 % Alcohol
  • Harvest Year: 2019

TASTING NOTES:
  • Appearance: Straw yellow with greenish reflections, clean and bright.
  • Nose: Fruity, with powerful, elegant and floral aromas where the variety is characteristic.
  • Palate: Full-bodied, silky, powerful, dense yet fresh and dry, with a marked saline touch.
  • Pairing: A perfect accompaniment to fish, shellfish, molluscs, rice, pasta, pâtés and foie gras, salads, oriental cuisine, steak tartar or carpaccio.
  • Serving temperature: Serve chilled (7ºC).

ORGANIC NILVA 2019
  • Designation of Origin: Sierras de Málaga
  • Type of wine: Dry white - Aged on fine lees - Fermented with indigenous yeasts.
  • Grape Variety: Moscatel de Alejandría 100 %.
  • Vineyard: Viña del Peñoncillo in Manilva (Malaga) of 1.8 Ha, located a few metres from the Mediterranean Sea and with a strong oceanic influence due to its proximity to the Strait of Gibraltar. Old vines (56 years old), cultivated on hills of albariza soil, with very low yields (<1Kg/ vine) and cultivated on dry land with organic farming certification.
  • Harvest: Manual with strict selection in the field, harvested in 7kg boxes.
  • Production: Limited to 1,582 bottles.
  • Alcoholic Graduation: 13,5 %.
  • Harvest Year: 2019
