Riodiel:
Type of wine: Condado Viejo Type of grape: Palomino Fino - Listán de Huelva Alcohol: 18% Vol. Ageing: Oxidative in oak casks. Solera 1980 Tasting notes: With iodine, amber and olive glints, its delicate and clean wood aroma gives rise to a very broad and long-lasting palate, leaving a powerful aftertaste. Gastronomy: Excellent as an aperitif with all kinds of cheeses, ham and cured meats.
S' Naranja:
Type of wine: Orange wine Type of grape: Pedro Ximénez and Palomino Fino. Late Harvest Alcohol: 15% Vol. Ageing: Macerated with bitter orange peels and aged for more than 10 years in American oak casks, using the criaderas and soleras system. Tasting notes: Intense amber colour, with honey, orange and ochre reflections, bright and clean. Slow, dense, glyceric tears. The nose is complex, subtle, elegant, with sweet aromas of candied fruit, dried apricots and prunes, typical of the PX variety. This sweetness is counterbalanced by the refreshing citrus notes of bitter orange, well-integrated with the saline and nutty notes typical of the Palomino grape from its ageing in wood. Smooth, silky, leaving interesting hints of oranges and candied fruit on the palate. The correct measure of acidity makes the wine fresh without being cloying or saturating. Gastronomy: It is a perfect pairing with chocolate and all kinds of desserts, without forgetting that slightly chilled it is ideal with foie, duck ham, sweet and sour salads and cheeses. Likewise, it is advisable to drink it at any time of the day or night with ice and orange slices.
